Amy from HM Soundsystem looks “beat” rocking an American Apparel two toned mini dress featuring a shear, sweetheart neckline, and form fitting nylon tricot bottom. As shown above it’s perfect layered with a custom fitted, sleeveless denim vest jacket.

Amy, a DJ and photographer, also utilizes her creative skills to create her own unique jewelry line.

Her half and half leggings, sheer in the front and opaque in the back, are reversible, undeniably fierce, and compliment the sheer neckline of her dress. Lets not forget her nude booties! Every girl should have a pair of flesh colored shoes to give more emphasize to the outfit.

This vintage inspired outfit looks chic with her blue headband and red clutch adding emphasis to her graphic print skirt. I love her vintage cat-eye glasses!

Lets admit everyone dreams of having that perfect little black dress. The classic little black dress is the height of chicness amongst fashion goers. This trend has managed to evolve and slightly reinvent itself over the years. Never failing to make a statement the dress has now become sexier and shorter. As seen above, the sheer knit little black dress has the perfect amount of simplicity while adding variation in the shoulder ruching. The American Apparel little black dress has a pencil cut featuring a scoop back. Pictured above: Jowharah Jones
For you guys out their try pairing a tux jacket with tee or drop grouch pants with combat boots. And don’t be scared to add some jewelry as well.

She looks fashionable in a blazer, fishnet hat, and a houndstooth ¾ length skirt. The blazer, which is worn bare underneath, still manages to polish her look while incorporating the houndstooth pattern makes the skirt interesting and alluring to the eye. Possibly a “DIY”, she decided to use a fish net as a head accessory.

Here is some fresh fashion we saw off the runway!

As much as we loved the designers during L.A. Fashion on Broadway, we love the fashionable crowd just as much! Lace is still conquering our wardrobes and I can’t get enough of it! Incorporating lace in your everyday wardrobe gives your entire outfit that touch of femininity and sexiness we all need sometimes…

We see a lot of fashionable people in Los Angeles, especially fashionable people with pretty sweet rides…but this, was definitely my favorite ride at the Gen Art & Unite Event.

Check out some more fashion that caught our eyes…

We had the pleasure of seeing the infamous wrap dress along with other delightful pre-Spring collection attire by Diane von Furstenburg who showed her line at this years Fashion for the Cure event. Here are a few of my favorite pieces…in the words of Rachel Zoe, I would D-I-E over these!

And we definitely can’t forget the fabulous attendees!

Fashion is all about the “wow” factor! When well-dressed men enter the room, women gasp (it’s true, men). Blazers go great day or night and year around, it can look simple and elegant and never overdone. Best accessory piece? His necklace bow-tie on the right, that’s a trend for men and women I’m hoping to see more of!

Fashion moguls celebrated the new publication Style Report at the Sunset Marquis. The intimate party made it easy for everyone to mingle and enjoy cocktails and appetizers.
There has been high demand for fadoras and feathers this year. The best part about the fashion event at Area 33 beside the fabulous Kucoon trunk sale was the time fashionistas spent designing their own fadora! Check out these two we spotted.

Fashion rules are meant to be broken, so why not accessorize with silver and gold…

Summer is meant to play with colors, love their punk rock glam style!

Mix n’ match sunglasses for a retro inspired look. Check out those ray ban’s!

Paulie Bleeker eat your heart out.

On Sunday morning Felixfoto traveled an hour and a half on the 101 out to the beach just north of Malibu to a place called Ventura, CA. Everyone congregated at the same time because no one knew what time the bands were playing. These are the street looks that he captured on kids that were out in the sun and cool breeze all day jamming to the sound track of rock & roll. Check out more dates on the Vans Warped Tour 2009.
Can not stress enough the importance of bold and fanciful hues! Great combination of colors for the Chic Little Devil Style House event, dressy enough for day, even better for night! The ruffles and layers gives a chic and feminine look.

Creativity with head pieces are a definite accessory booster! Cut and paste your own with minimal work, it will be worth the compliment. = )
