LookBookLA is the largest listing of fashion events in LA. Twice a year LA holds it’s official fashion week showcasing the new collections of designers six months before being released to the public. Welcome to the LookBookLA Fashion Week Spring 2010 schedule of fashion events. This is the end marker for all of the events included during LA Fashion Week which spans almost the entire month from October 08 – 31, 2009. LookBookLA updates daily.
Fashion Week Closes Without Costumes

The inside scoop: Rock Fashion Week in LA is now two days starting on the 29th.
Rock Fashion Week is becoming more concrete! Just remember to spell Rock Fashion Wk without the “e’s” when going to the URL. The location is the Peterson Automotive Museum, the first show is Gen Art, and the much talked about closing night party on Halloween is canceled. Let’s see what else I can find out once I sift though all the LA Fashion Week info.

It is with a very sad heart that I have to announce to you that the Julia Clancey Spring/Summer 2010 Tutti Frutti runway show and event this Sunday at Chic Little Devil must be postponed until further notice. The line was delivered (from being hand-sewn) at Julia Clancey’s home on Wednesday at 10:15am, and the FedEx person neglected to do signature confirmation and just left it in her hallway. When Julia arrived home at 1:10pm, the line had been STOLEN!!
Leave it to a resourceful and smart woman like Julia to try and turn this tragedy around…she has involved not only the police but also the news media (as many of you probably saw on last night’s news)…ABC 7, KTLA, CBS, NBC, Channel 9 and more!! These media outlets are so taken by the story that they want to do follow-up pieces on Julia Clancey’s line, and they want to cover the event when it does occur!!
We will NOT stop until we have recovered the line. There is a $4000 cash reward for tips leading to recovery of the line. Please pass the word around!!!
We ask only a few simple things of you…..
- When the party does come back (bigger and better), PLEASE attend and show your support and love to Julia. Invite all your fashion heavy-hitter friends. The media at this party will be insanely positive!
- When the party happens, we will be looking for major sponsors who love fashion and would love the multi-network, several million viewer exposure. Please refer any companies you know who would like to help turn this tragedy around.
- All my wonderful stylists, publicsts and costume designers…we do have Julia’s current lines (Fall/Winter and Holiday 2009/2010) so please continue to patronize the line and pull it for your clients!
